Sea Sprite Deco
My Sea Sprite Deco is home. I forgot to put the date on it when I made it, but I know it's been gone for well over a year....... I made it out of drink coasters. It traveled all the way to Norway , PA. and Florida. I'm not sure where else because the rest of the artists just signed their name. I love all the art everyone has added...very creative!!

Brimfield antique fair
We went to Brimfield fair yesterday. It was fun, but so hot! There were lots of amazing and interesting items. I especially liked a beautiful mermaid garden statue but at over $3000 it was a little out of my price range! I did end up buying several old post cards to add to my collection.
We walked around for 4 hours but didn't even get to see half of it. After a while I made my poor husband carry my heavy girly tote bag. He did get some complements :)

My Deco book came home!
Wow! In my mailbox today, was a deco book that I had made in April 2006 ! It was worth the wait ! The art work was beautiful!
Thanks to C . from New Zealand for returning it! The theme for this book was " The Art of John William Godward". I made this deco book using red paper lunch bags. When I sent this book on its way via alternative decos (yahoo group) I had no idea where it would travel, or if I would ever see it again! Not everyone wrote where they lived, but from those who did, I know that this book went far (Florida, Canada, New Zealand). I shall treasure it, and want to give a special thanks to the creative artists that worked in it -- Brenda A, Anet, Rebecca V, Linda L, Julia P. and C.C. !

Shrinky dink charms
Today I decided to try making shrinky dink charms. I've used shrink plastic before but not the shrinky dink brand. I wasn't happy that they cost $10 and there are only 6 sheets! I like to experiment a lot with sizes and colors. Needless to say I pretty much went through the whole package experimenting. The first sheet everything came out too small. The second sheet I thought I could make my son a quick sandwich while they were baking. Guess I took too long because I burned that batch.....next sheet got caught and mangled in my printer......LOL!

A Pirates life for me!
Oh, I love making Etsy treasuries....but I don't like waiting for them to open! Seemed like it was stuck on 333 forever! I sat glued to the computer with my life on hold ...finally it opened...
I put in my title, clicked create...and up came the words " unable to connect to treasury" NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Thankfully I did connect a few moments later and my treasury was there waiting for me.....and here it is.........
